Player Profile:

Is a professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association who currently plays for the Sta. Lucia Realtors. He was drafted 13th overall by Sta. Lucia in 2007.

Mamaclay was acquired by the Sta. Lucia Realtors in the 2007 PBA Draft when they traded Mark Isip and Ricky Calimag to the Coca-Cola Tigers. He was the 13th draft pick of that draft.
A 6-foot-5 lanky forward, who can play outside and inside, is given a chance to play in the big league after the departure of Ricky Calimag and Mark Isip from Sta. Lucia Realty.
He is expected to deliver quality points, rebounds and play defense against opposing big man off the bench. Mamaclay is also a type of big man who can play facing the basket due to his fast reflexes and perimeter game.
Mamaclay’s combination of length and outside shooting turns him to a combo forward. He can shoot from the outside and bring his game down low.
An unheralded player, who had seen action in the minor commercial National Basketball Conference playing for Pagadian Explorers. Mamaclay was a surprise second round draft pick by the Realtors in the 2007 PBA draft.
Before deciding to join the rookie draft last year, he decided to play in NBC during that time to hone more his basketball skills. In fact, Mamaclay is already available to join the PBA draft in 2003, but he chose to stay in the amateur for awhile for good.
He played alongside ex-pro Nelson Asaytono, former Sta. Lucia player Mike Orquillas and Peter Naron in NBC.
