3rd overall pick by FedEx in 2004 draft. A forward can post and shoot from outside. One of the best rebounding big men in the league today.

Player’s Profile:
Is a Filipino professional basketball player in the PBA for the San Miguel Beermen. He is a versatile 6-foot-5 forward that can post up and shoot from the outside. He is half-French and half-Filipino. he is now married to actress Danica Sotto and have one child named Jean-Michel.
He initially started his career in the PBA in a draft who contained the likes of James Yap, Gary David, Ranidel de Ocampo, Rich Alvarez and Nelbert Omolon, who would have promising careers, for the Air21 Express. He was quickly traded to the Purefoods TJ Hotdogs along with Egay Billiones. He would eventually have his big chance with the team.
Air21
Pingris was selected by the Air21 Express as the 3rd overall pick in the 2004 PBA Draft. The draft also include James Yap, who will soon be his teammate at Purefoods. He played few games prior to the trade that sent him to Purefoods TJ Hotdogs.
Purefoods
He was traded to Purefoods after having played few games with the Express. He was traded along with Egay Billiones. In The 2005-06 PBA season, he was awarded as the Finals MVP in the 2006 PBA Philippine Cup as Purefoods defeated Red Bull, 4-2. In Game 2 of the Finals of the 2006 season, he scored 21 points to lead Purefoods to a 93-82 win. In the 2007-08 PBA Philippine Cup Finals, he grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds, leading to his new nickname, Rebounding Demon. All these achiements will end as Purefoods will ship him to the Magnolia Beverage Masters in exchange for Enrico Villanueva, as Purefoods is lacking a legitimate Center to fill the void left by Rommel Adducul, as Adducul is diagnosed with nasopharynx cancer.
Magnolia/San Miguel
He was traded at the start of the 2007-08 PBA season to the Magnolia Beverage Masters in exchange for Enrico Villanueva. He started his first game for Magnolia against his former team, Purefoods, coming as a starter. He is now currently playing for the San Miguel Beermen, coming as a reserve.
