Player’s Profile:
Is a Filipino professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association who currently plays for the San Miguel Beermen. He was automatically hired by Red Bull in 2000 Then traded to San Miguel for future draft picks.
Pennisi is a very good left-handed 3-point shooter. In the 2007-08 PBA Philippine Cup, He is the third highest 3-point field goal shooter behind his team mate Mike Hrabak and Ren-Ren Ritualo. His career high is 29 points. Sometimes, He is regarded as one of the tallest Filipino basketball players standing at 6 foot 11 inches.
He averaged 10.8 points in the 2007 Season. He also averaged 7.6 Rebounds.
Pennisi was traded to the San Miguel Beermen after the 2008 PBA Fiesta Conference in exchange for San Miguel's 2010 first round pick.[1]
Fresh from a fruitful stint with the RP 5, the 6-9 Fil-Australian lefty will be the major piece in the quest of the team to make it to at least in the semis of the coming conferences. His experience he got in Tokushima will be a big help in his confidence to lead his team.
Pennisi's role this coming season will be expanded as Guiao lost big-time scorers and he knows that the 32-year old forward can occasionally give the team instant offense. He played 30 games last season with 15 starts and averaged 10.8 points and 7.6 rebounds and expect those numbers to rise with a looming longer exposure on the court.
