About the Player
Is a Filipino professional basketball player currently playing with the Red Bull Barako. He is the son of one of the greatest shooters to ever play in the PBA, Freddie Hubalde. Paolo plays the guard position.
Paolo was the lone draft by the San Miguel Beermen in 2005 probably a move if he can be an understudy for the aging Olsen Racela. His role diminished when the Beermen took in Brandon Cablay and played only 8 games in that season in just 5 minutes a night of exposure.
But the 24-year old guard saw himself reuniting with coach Jong Uichico with the Barangay Ginebra Kings in a multi-player trade in the early part of the season. Unfortunately, he has to wait for his chance to be included in the regular roster after the Kings signed up with veteran Johnny Abarrientos to be the chief backup of Jayjay Helterbrand.
Hubalde was signed by the Red Bull Barako to play for the 2008-09 PBA season.
